The asymmetrical and rigid tread design of Potenza tyres is engineered to provide the ultimate control and stability during cornering.
The stiffened central rib of the Potenza S007A delivers increased responsiveness and stability in all conditions.
On the Potenza Adrenalin RE003, shortened lug grooves increase the rigidity of the shoulder block, taking handling stability to a new level.
The Potenza range is designed for superior safety in the wet and dry.
The rounded tread blocks of the Potenza S007A create high contact pressure to provide an enhanced level of grip, especially in wet conditions.
On the Potenza RE003, pulse grooves and deflectors provide advanced drainage and anti-hydroplaning performance.
To deliver higher tyre stability and improved traction, Potenza’s sidewalls are reinforced with polyethylene terephthalate, and in some cases even Kevlar (some sizes of S007A). Rim guards are present on low profile sizes to protect your investment.

While the reinforced sidewalls of Run Flat tyres keep them working without air pressure, they also create a stiffer drive than conventional tyres when they are inflated.
Potenza S001 RFT
The Innovation
To overcome this limitation, we’ve introduced a revised sidewall and next generation heat-supressing technology into the design of the S001 RFT.
Nano Pro-Tech™ and Cooling Fin
To combat heat generation from within the tyre, we’ve used Nano Pro-Tech™ to develop a new rubber compound for the reinforced sidewall.
To supress heat generation on the outside of the tyre, we’ve introduced fins along the tyre wall exterior.
